What is a liquid diet?
A Liquid diet is when your intake of
conventional solid food is replaced totally with liquids.
Can a liquid diet help me lose weight?
If you have a lot of weight to lose, a liquid
diet may be the right weight-loss diet for you.
As with any diet, while on a liquid diet, you
need to be sure your body is getting all the vitamins and minerals
it needs to stay healthy.
However, if the liquid diet you choose does
provide all the nutrients your body needs, taking conventional food
out of the equation can give you time to think about why you’ve
overeaten in the past and how you can change your behaviour in the
future.
Why do I need to look at my past eating habits?
The time you spend on a liquid diet is a great
opportunity to look at your eating habits and see if you can learn
any lessons that will help you once you stop the liquid diet and
return to conventional food.
Weight loss isn’t just about calories. Knowing
what is going on in your head really can help you make healthy
choices about the food you eat.
Would a liquid diet work for me?
If you have three stone or more to lose the
